We use as many cross curriculum opportunities in the teaching of the New Curriculum.
The children in our school are given experiences to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in school and outdoors. Our school follows a 2 year cycle of teaching the New Curriculum.
Below are the new progression documents for Numeracy, Reading, Writing and Science. Children are now assessed without levels. They are now taught and assessed according to the year in which they are working.
At the moment, Frosterley School is introducing these and parents will be kept up to date with these changes.
